Dave began his insurance career in 1975 upon obtaining his degree in Risk Management from San Jose State University. He shares his time between the executive management of the firm and the development of customer accounts, primarily serving commercial organizations. He has especially strong expertise in risk management and client-tailored programs. He matches his personal philosophy of superior account service to that of Micheletti Insurance Services to provide clients with the broadest range of alternatives choosing the right strategies to best meet their particular needs. To facilitate this process, Dave maintains a thorough knowledge of insurance and stays up on developing industry trends, risk management, regulatory and legislative changes that will affect his clients.

With an appeal for a more flexible, client-oriented environment stressing personal attention to client needs, he enjoys being closely involved in the design and servicing of client insurance, self-insurance and risk management programs.

Dave stays active in both professional and community activities; currently is a member of non-profit and corporate boards. He also holds the professional designations of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and an Associate in Risk Management.
